A Drifting Life, by Yoshihiro Tatsumi

An impressively compelling 800+ page autobiography in comics form. Tatsumi’s life tells the story of the early years of manga and how he helped pioneer things taken today as standard. I think, like Tatsumi, I’m going to tie on a headband every time I sit down to write comics from now on.
