A great concept: a man wakes up one day in a post-apocalyptic world, the next in his hum-drum, depressing life. In this case, the graphic novel form feels limiting. Rather than 160-ish pages, I’d have preferred to see it develop, deepen, and unfurl over the course of 10, 12, or 20 comics.
