The Treasury of XXth Century Murder: The Terrible Axe-Man of New Orleans, by Rick Geary

Categorized in:

Geary’s chronicles of historical murders are normally reliably entertaining, sometimes enthralling. But this one feels oddly rushed, with numerous spelling mistakes and a less-finished tone to the language than is common. It seems like there’s been an increase in the rate of these books coming out ? maybe that’s diminishing quality a bit?
