Back in 2007, artist Neal Von Flue and I did a really fun, sad, creepy adaptation of the old folk ballad The Wind and The Rain for Split Lip.
As we did that, Neal and I discovered our shared love of old folk music (Neal’s even in a band that plays it!). As we talked about that love, and how much fun we had doing The Wind and The Rain, we decided in would be fun to make some more folk comics, as a non-Split Lip book. And we’re just about done with the project. I’m not ready to unveil it yet–maybe at the end of July or so–but I am ready to show you a sneak peek.
After the jump, you can see a newly colorized version of The Wind and The Rain that Neal’s done. It’s pretty amazing. I can’t wait to show you more of the comic when it’s ready.
