52/52: Akira, Vol. 2, by Katsuhiro Otomo

How good is Otomo? This installment of Akira—over 300 pages of comics—basically takes place in about one day and involves Tetsuo going on a very long walk and opening a door (and an orbiting satellite firing at Tokyo … details) and there’s not a single slack or boring second. Unbelievable.
