Say Nothing, by Patrick Radden Keefe

A chronicle of the Troubles in Northern Ireland viewed through the lens of one particular murder. Gripping and educational. I was particularly struck by the toll and ruination of the lives of former IRA paramilitaries who survived. Dying young, alone, lacking purpose, and filled with regret. A bleak picture of extreme commitment.
