52/52: The Book of V, by Anna Solomon

Solomon’s realist literary fiction isn’t my usual, but her novels are compelling and thoughtful. Here, she does something I haven’t seen: three parallel narratives, but the characters are aware of the echoes between narratives, instead of only the reader seeing it. Smart move to make the characters as aware as the reader.
