52/52: The Department of Truth, vol. 1: The End of the World, by James Tynion and Martin Simmonds

Huge, expressive, imagistic, high-impact art here, heavily reminiscent of Bill Sienkiewicz). The high concept is good, too: A secret government agency that undermines conspiracy theories lest the power of collective belief make them real. Not sure I connected to the characters or plot, though, so I don’t know if I’ll continue on.
