The next phase of BPRD takes its first major casualty behind the scenes with the exit of artist Guy Davis in this book. We now know that Davis left after falling out with creator Mignola over Mignola’s coddling of sexual abuser/editor Scott Allie. Book is good, but that background knowledge is queasy.
